We study the cognitive neuroscience of visual cognition, with a particular focus on visual attention, visual working memory, and cognitive control. Our work uses tools like EEG and behavioral experiments to understand how the brain supports these complex functions.
My lab is powered by a team of passionate undergraduate researchers who are deeply involved in every stage of the research process—from designing experiments to analyzing data and presenting findings at conferences.
I’m always excited to talk with students about cognitive neuroscience, so feel free to reach out if you're curious about our work or want to get involved!
Well done to Den Boakye for presenting our work “Neural Representation of Content and Context Information in Visual Working Memory” at the Working Memory Symposium.
🎓 Congratulations to our recently graduated lab alumni—Fanta Jatta, Khayla Santiago and Hayleen Garcia—on their achievements and next exciting chapters ahead!
Congratulations to Khayla Santiago for giving her first conference talk at VSS 2025! Her presentation, titled “Neural Oscillations Enable Concurrent Visual Perception and Visual Working Memory Processing”.
